Features of Huawei Watch 3 Pro

Huawei’s Harmony OS launch event on June 2 also featured a slew of new hardware releases, such as the all-new Huawei Watch 3 & Watch 3 Pro. This new numeral shift with the Huawei Watch 3 Pro seems like a justified and overdue push ahead, even though Huawei’s Watch GT series has served the company well over the last several years. A wearable-specific platform called LiteOS was used for the Watch 3 Series until HarmonyOS was introduced with the Watch 3 Series.

Design and Build

With a titanium casing and 22mm standard strap, the Huawei watch 3 pro is a premium product. It’s luxurious to the touch and stunning to look at. Our version of a luxury watch was light enough to wear all day without feeling like a burden. Without the strap, the entire weight is merely 63 grams. The Watch 3 Pro comes with two straps: a rubber and a metal one, making it easy to match your clothing. If that isn’t enough, you can buy more straps because they are standard.

Software

The Huawei Watch 3 Pro operating system is a significant improvement over the Watch GT 2 Pro. It’s currently running HarmonyOS 2.0, which adds even more functionality to the system. To match the larger screen’s resolution, Huawei has kept things simple and merely raised the text size. Icons remain the same in the design.

Huawei’s answer to Siri and Alexa, Celia, is supported by the smartwatch’s integration with the Harmony ecosystem. The Watch 3 Pro must be linked to the internet through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or the eSIM inside for it to operate. Heart rate, sleep tracking, SpO2 measures, and breathing exercises are already familiar to Huawei and non-Huawei customers because of the pre-loaded apps. The connection with Huawei AppGallery is what makes the difference.

Connectivity

One of the most significant changes Huawei has made in its wearable sector is how the watch is connected to the outside world. At least since the Lite OS has been in use, Bluetooth and GPS have been the only means of connecting the device. Every aspect of my life has altered.

The Watch 3 Pro has Wi-Fi, NFC, and the ability to connect to a mobile network on its own in worldwide markets. Using the Huawei Health app, you may clone the phone’s SIM card by pressing a special button in the menu.

Battery Life

The Huawei Watch 3 Pro can last up to 21 days on a single charge, with a large asterisk attached. The battery life is just over three days using Wi-Fi, NFC, AOD, and the eSIM. When all of these features are active, the battery life is just over three days. All of the battery’s 790 mAh capacity was depleted.

The Huawei Watch 3 Pro comes with a magnetic 10W wireless charger, although it can be charged with any Qi charger. Compared to other smartwatches, charging the watch for three hours every three days isn’t that amazing, but when compared to Huawei’s previous smartwatches.
